Museum of Latin American Art

The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) is a cutting-edge art museum located in Long Beach, California. The museum has one of the most extensive collections of Latin American art in the United States, and it's open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free for all visitors.

The MOLAA was founded in 1995 and is headed by José Andrés and his wife Elizabeth Norris Andrés. The MOLAA has a collection of more than 12,000 pieces of art that covers the history of Latin America from pre-Columbian times to the present day. The museum's permanent collection features paintings, sculptures, prints, decorative arts, and video and multimedia exhibits on such topics as Chicano art, the history of Mexico, and Colombian contemporary art.
